  • Codice fiscale (tax code)
  • 1 passport-size photo
  • Proof of US residence (utility bill, lease, bank statement)
  • Consulate payment receipt (~$30-40)

  • 2Also covers northern/central New Jersey (Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union, Warren counties)
  • 3The CIE is produced in Italy and shipped to the consulate (4-8 weeks)
