Terms of service
1. Nature of service
Resinaro provides document preparation assistance and certified translation services. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice and we are not affiliated with the Italian Consulate, the Embassy of Italy or any government entity in the United States or Italy.
2. No guarantee of outcome
We do not guarantee that the consulate will accept your documents, schedule an appointment within a specific timeframe or approve your application. Decisions belong solely to the relevant consulate. Timeframes shown on our site are estimates based on our experience, not guarantees.
3. Translations
Our certified translations meet the requirements of 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) for USCIS and are generally accepted by state and federal courts, consulates and universities. However, we cannot guarantee acceptance by specific entities, as requirements may vary.
4. Pricing and payments
All prices are in United States Dollars (USD). The prices published on the site at the time of order are the prices charged. Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store credit card data.
5. Refunds
If we have not yet started work on your documents, you are entitled to a full refund. Once translation or document preparation has begun, a refund is not available for work already completed. For refund requests, contact us@resinaro.com.
6. Privacy
We collect only the information necessary to provide the service: name, email, uploaded documents. We do not sell data to third parties. Uploaded documents are deleted within 90 days of order completion.
7. Unauthorized Practice of Immigration Law (UPIL)
We do not provide advice on immigration matters. We do not advise which visa to apply for, interpret immigration laws or represent clients before USCIS or other agencies. If you need immigration legal advice, consult a licensed attorney.
8. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service. We are not liable for consulate delays, rejected documents, unavailable appointments or any indirect damages.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and applicable federal laws of the United States.
10. Changes
We reserve the right to update these terms. The date of the last update is shown at the bottom of this page.
